Family friendly is the key to Donalda—and the club wishes to welcome guests of members as part of its family.

Whether it be a round of golf, a game of tennis or dinner for the extended family we trust your experience will be a memorable one.

A dress code for members and their guests has been in place at the Donalda Club since its inception in 1960. The dress code is enforced as a sign of respect for members and the club’s beautiful surroundings.

All guests are expected to dress accordingly when visiting the Donalda Club. Appropriate dress is neat and clean. Attire that is not appropriate for the clubhouse includes (but is not restricted to): tank tops and miniskirts.

Donalda is a cottage within the city and guests are welcome with members to experience all of our wonderful facilities.

Dining

Guests are welcome to our dining facilities during operating hours accompanied by a member of the club. Whether you are joining us for a casual dinner in our Willow Room or Sun Room or for Fine Dining in our upstairs Log Room, we promise your experience in food quality and service will be like no other in the city.

Guests who are not accompanied by members are asked to enter the North entrance of the Clubhouse and announce themselves to the receptionist. At that time, the receptionist will direct you to the appropriate area.

As you arrive, please drive up to the golf bag drop off area by the North Entrance. When you press the drop off bag button, you will be connected to the Pro Shop. Announce your name, who you are playing with and at what time. The Pro Shop will then pick up your bag and make sure your round of golf starts off without a hitch.

Parking is complimentary to all guests and you may park your car in any spot for your convenience. You may then proceed to the locker room area to change. Please ask the member for the access code into the locker room. At the locker room you may ask the locker room assistant for a guest locker and may use all of the amenities at your convenience.

Once you are ready to play you may proceed to the Pro Shop and ask to use our driving range or putting green to begin your round or enjoy our lovely Garden Patio where you may have a beverage with the member.

Guests of a member are welcome to use our summer tennis facilities, our state-of-the-art winter tennis bubble and our international tennis courts.

Arrangements can be made through the summer tennis office located in the middle of the north tennis courts or the winter tennis office located outside the back entrance to the locker room. Please be advised that our dress code for tennis and squash is all whites with some coloured trim allowed; i.e. clothing must be at least 90% white.

Individuals who are curling may use the south entrance of the club to access the Curling rink. Food and beverage service is available in the Curling lounge.
